·Izzy· : *Through the forest, boots moved solidly and steadily, with an almost freakish combination of strength and grace, that line that Izzy always walked. It wasn't a matter of stealth, there was no need to sneak. She was just walking her strange combination of being lost in her own thoughts and seemingly oblivious to the events around her. She was thinking to herself, processing a lot of things. Being back in old and familiar places always brought this mindset around. With a fingerless glove pushing a rogue branch out of the way, long and sleeveless coat hanging around her, she found the old clearing she used to spend so much time around. It was an odd, tiny little place of unnatural serenity and light, maybe thirty feet diameter, with the odd, entirely out of place white stone of a collapsed pillar half-embedded in the ground. That little bit of architecture that had followed her during her initial appearance in Eladrin. Taking a breath, she moved directly to the stone, starting to brush moss and plant matter from the oddly warm, almost radiant stone with the back of a hand, before resting it flat on the cleared surface with a slightly bowed head. This little bubble of foreign yet light energy that she seemed so attuned to. It was equal parts comforting and maddening. Quietly, she spoke in the same old, old Celestial dialect she tended to use from time to time without thinking about it. "...I don't even know what I'm doing any more. I'm tired of walking blind. A little guidance wouldn't go amiss." She didn't really expect a response from anything. It was just nice to be able to apparently talk to herself without people giving her strange looks, frankly.*
ŞlèéK : It remembered falling, taking the men with it as the cliff edge sheared away, dropping into the deep mountain chasm, toward the river so far below. There was no fear, no sadness, it had followed its orders and death was not a concept that its mind understood. destruction, that it understood, that meant cessation of function, the end of the ability to carry on with its duty. But destruction had not come, for it had landed in the narrow, but deep river, and was swept along by the strong current that tumbled and shoved it along. It fended off the big rocks, preserving its functional abilities, and then it was falling again as the river leapt out over the edge of the escarpment, dropping toward the valley far below. It found the sensation of falling, not precisely unpleasant, though it was unsettling as it tried to find a balance for its body in the rushing air by spreading its arms and legs. That stopped the tumbling, but did not slow the rate of descent appreciably. It did not bother trying to deduce the speed it was falling, but rather focused on finding a means of avoiding the rocks below. It drew its arms in slightly and noted a change in vector, encouraged it altered the spread of its legs gaining more forward momentum, until it tucked into a ball, just before impacting the water of the river below with a great splash, the water absorbing the impact and reducing the impact with the bottom to a soft bump. Unfolding, its feet touched bottom, finding the current in this wider course manageable, it walked toward the shoreline, and emerged from the water as it mounted the sloping bank with each unhurried stride. Water drained from its form, a sleek construct of wood, stone and metal, that had the approximate shape of a man. Any resemblance to a man ended there, for its face was a crude parody, dominated by the green eyes that glowed with their own inner light. Its hands had but three digits, a thumb and two sturdy fingers. Its head turned from side to side as it surveyed the surrounding terrain, listening as much as looking. The sounds of the night were soft as if distant, but it saw no more of the armored men it had been tasked to hold at bay. It stood there, still as a statue while it sought within its memory for the next priority task...but found nothing. What was it to do now? -d-
♦Callie♦ : *"Come on. Just a little...Bit...Closer..." The deer in her vision was still not quite easy to get a clean shot on. If she was going to hunt, it was going to be as efficient as possible. She was hungry but wanted to (and would be fully able to) spare her prey any undue pain. Not that it mattered. A thundering splash not too distant from her sent the deer skittering away at record speed, the ball of light that hung around her making an almost antagonisingly song-like sound as it moved. "...Not funny. Some of us have to eat, you know." Playfully, she swatted at the sentient little spark that zipped around her leaving a brief trail of light, only to make another noise. "It'll just be a rock falling or something, but fine. Let's go and look. Though I don't plan on spending -all- night out here if I can help it. I want to find a real bed at least once this week." Oh, of course, Callie had the basics on her at all times, and an enchanted, easy to collapse tent that held more than one might expect was fine for what it was, but sometimes? It was nice to let somebody else deal with everything, and if possible exchange shiny objects for breakfast in the morning. So pulling herself to her feet, Callie stretched both real, bow-holding and brassy magitech head alike above her head, illuminated by the fairy-thing that bobbed and darted around her, as she turned and started in the direction of the noise, as best she could estimate. The strange, metal-like bow seemed to reflect the blue-white light with a dark purple surface of its own, held by her side as she started walking quite calmly, brown leather jacket covered in buckles with a lion's head on a shield on the back of it. Apparently a uniform of some kind or another. Eventually coming to see the form of what she assumed was human not far from the river, she paused herself for a few moments, head cocking to one shoulder for a few moments before starting towards it with nonthreatening, but really quite deliberate and careful steps that hinted somewhat at her own military training and history, bow still held rather passively by her side. The metal hand, however, shifted its fingers back and forth smoothly and quietly save for the slight occasional dull click of metal on metal, just in case.*
ŞlèéK : It did not keep track of how long it had stood, utterly still as it searched within its memories for a solution to its current lack of direction, but thus far, it was adrift in the unknown, unfettered by directives or constraints, but equally lacking in a driving motivation. The soft sounds of cautious footsteps, and the quiet clicking of metal were perceived and processed by a mind that was coldly logical, and primed with the skills of a warrior who preferred stealth and surprise to direct confrontation. Its head turned in an unhurried manner followed by its body in a sinuously graceful manner toward the direction of the sound, bringing into view the softly glowing green gemstones that served for eyes. The metal that guarded its core and joints softly reflected the light from a dull sheen, but the dark fibrous muscles made not a sound as they swiveled the head, and flexed the hands slowly. Those unblinking eyes settled on the approaching form, and studied it, intricate mechanisms behind the gems adjusting to draw in more light until the figure was clearly visible. comparisons were made to the armor and armorial signals that had been burned into its memory, finding no match, it remained still...this was likely a non-combatant, despite the weapon she carried. It searched among its standard responses, but found nothing that fit the situation...so..it had to improvise..."Gnoll fucking mass of turd drenched metal!" was that a proper greeting? its choices were limited. -d-
♦Callie♦ : *seemed light on her feet, boots clearly made to find the perfect balance of lightness and sturdiness, whereas the coat, while much the same, was slightly heavier looking. Made sense, really, seeing as it was protecting all the squishy internal organs while still being as light as possible. The odd-looking half-elf continued her approach, fingers of her real hand raising one by one until the bow was released, though instead of falling it seemed to make rapid clicking noises as it almost folded in on itself, morphing in a half-mechanical manner into the impossibly small shackle-like bracelet she wore on that arm. Her gaze met that of the being in front of her, and as she closed in she noticed things weren't quite right. The way he held himself. The unnatural stillness. The eyes. Zel, the fairy-like being, seemed to fall into line over a shoulder, but seemed to no longer ring or chime. She too was in a mindset of pure purpose. When the 'greeting' was given, her brow furrowed for a couple of moments as she seemed to process it, before responding with a soft, kind sounding voice. "...Oh, you are incredible..." Staying only barely out of the being's immediate reach, easily within reach should he have lunged or moved even fairly quickly with intent, she circled with the same cautiously-calm approach she'd initially given, a smile on her face apparently entirely oblivious to the creature's grasp of language. "...Are you...Okay? Was that you who fell?" She asked after making a full circle, facing the misplaced construct with a look of mild concern. "...Where you would have fallen -from- I don't know. But there was a loud...Sorry. I'm rambling." The smile she gave up at the construct practically beamed. Callie was clearly in her element.*
ŞlèéK : Its mind, primed and programmed for combat was constantly calculating the distance that separated them with a fine accuracy, picking out vulnerable areas and creating a fluid shifting plan of attack as she circled. All the while another portion of its mind was processing what she said, only a portion of which it understood. "No, I am not incredible...I am designated Sleek..." Its voice held no emotional inflection and had a metallic ring to it as if it were made by metal being oscillated at a specific pitch to create speech, which was not far from the truth. "I did fall, I am fully functional, but lack proper protocols for the current situation." It continued in the same dispassionate tone as it tracked her progress focusing its gaze on her once more as she stopped before it. "I have limited data...there is...a discontinuity in my sludge encrusted ogre turd I use for a brain." That was perhaps not the proper word choice for what it wanted to convey, but there was a discontinuity it could not explain, a period of no sensory input that had disrupted its sense of time's passage. It gaze moved to the sky, to observe the stars, searching for the known patterns...and finding none..."Lice eaten bag of shit got me lost." -d-
♦Callie♦ : *Callista's smile persevered, a slight, momentary giggle being silenced. Though she was fully aware of the threat that could be posed by a being created for war, and maximum efficiency in that goal, she was clearly unafraid of that potential being used to threaten her. "Well, Sleek. You are amazing. You're beautiful! You're...Incredible!" It had been quite a while since she had seen one at all like him. Of course, every land that had constructs had their own quirks and natures, but Callie saw real beauty in it. Hand-formed life and sentience, free to do as it willed. It was something that always amazed her. "I'm Callie! And this little glowing thing is my friend Zel!" She motioned to the blue-white ball of light, which zipped around them both a couple of times before disappearing, apparently under Callie's collar. When Sleep spoke once more in his 'unique' way, she looked a little bit disheartened. "...They weren't kind to you, were they? The..." She paused, looking at his design for a moment before taking an intuitive guess "...Humans? You're far too polite for Dwarves to have been involved, in my experience..." Her brass hand reached out carefully, to rest lightly on one of Sleek's arms. It would be obvious, especially to one trained or built to look for threats, that she meant absolutely no harm, and would cause none. Dropping her hand back to her side a moment later, her gaze turned towards the sky, her own appearance not entirely dissimilar, by the sound of it, before she spoke calmly. "...It's a whole other world to me, so if you're looking for answers, I'm sorry. I can't give them. I'm trying to find them myself."*
ŞlèéK : It listened as she spoke, storing the names and her words, some were already present others were new. "I was made, like the other, to hold the pass so the masters could evacuate the city and villages. We were to eliminate the enemy commanders, scatter the troops and destroy their supplies, I dismantled many of them, before I fell. What is kind?" It asked with a slight tilt of its head. Its voice held curiosity, but its expression never shifted, the rigid features incapable of that. It considered the current situation, reading her emotional state but not having a vocabulary to fully understand it, beyond the simple binary status...she was not a threat, it could indeed read that clearly, but also knew from her manner of movement, that she could become one. Its build was such to suggest optimization for speed and agility rather than brute strength, but the deep gouges in the armor plating over its knuckles suggested that its strength was well above that of a human. "gnome buggerin sack of orc shit, I do not understand, I lack data Callie..." It said trailing off as it turned its gaze skyward again, to map the visible stars, committing them to memory to serve as a baseline for further navigational data as its internal mechanisms adjusted, finding the local magnetic north, then matching that up to the visible stars to find the local pole star. After several moments of silence it turned and pointed ahead of itself, "That is true north, bucket head."-d-
♦Callie♦ : *nodded, listening intently and really quite happy to be around, though at the same time, her attitude did seem to shift slightly. Like for some reason she was trying to somehow comfort what many would see as nothing but a machine. Would it do any good? She didn't know. She didn't even realise she was doing it. "So you're a war hero. You'd selflessly give yourself to battle to protect those you fight for." She looked up at him, the smile returning to her face, albeit softer. "They created you to fight? And you did, looking at the state of you. And you survived. Mission completed." The latest outburst got momentarily raised eyebrows, though she never stopped smiling. It was almost endearing, in a way. "Kindness...is hard to explain. I don't really know how myself. I just know it when I see it. As for lacking data? There's only one thing you can do. Gain more. Because you're free. You're not just something constructed to fight. You were given gifts beyond that. It's...Time to find them. To find out who you are and what you can do." And then she had a thought. That concept of kindness coming back. Perhaps it'd be a good example. "I've got a little experience with this sort of thing. I had to find a new purpose once myself, too. The unknown is a big and scary place, but you can make it whatever you wish." She paused once more, looking down from the stars and into the crystals he had for eyes again. "And if you want help with that? I'll see what I can do." She glanced towards the way he pointed. "...That's...Actually useful to know. Thank you!"*
ŞlèéK : It listened, something it was very good at, taking in the words, and concepts they introduced. Some of those concepts were clear, others either unknown or hazy and ill defined. It thought about her idea that it was capable of more than its base design...this was true, it had been designed to observe, assess and adapt to the needs of the moment, which in battle had been made much easier with the already inculcated routines and stratagems. But this...this freedom was an unknown quantity...however her assertions were taken as temporary working principles that could be built upon or discarded. It was not certain however of being a hero...it had definitions for that, it had just done what was necessary to accomplish its orders. As to who it was...that was easy...It was unit 498, designated sleek for its lightly armored chassis and increased speed of response. As to what it could do, that list of subroutines was lengthy but quickly processed against possible applications to the current situation. Its voice carried a more certain tone as it said, "Your deployment of a bow suggests either perceived danger or seeking the acquisition of food, am I correct?" It was always good to check deductions with a reliable source of data. -d-
♦Callie♦ : *While Sleek ran through the possibilities and options, Callie had taken to watching the sky as though expecting to see something different. Zel, having appeared again as a bright blue-white ball with six silk-like trails of white energy behind it, zipped around Sleek once more before taking to simply, apparently, exploring the area, like some kind of curious wisp. The question posed to her by the construct she had taken an immediate liking to snapped her out of it, looking back to him with a nod. "That's right! I was hunting when I heard the splash. And...Well, I'm naturally curious. And -somebody- convinced me." She shot a glance over at the little ball of light which rapidly zipped back to her, chiming melodically as it did. "I'm thinking I might start heading back to town instead of setting up camp. It's not -too- far. You're welcome to join me if you'd like. I wouldn't mind the company at all...Ugh." She winced, unfastening the buckles of her coat despite the winter air, and shrugging thebrass-coloured arm out of the sleeve. Her real hand moved to hold the shoulder lightly, fingers running lightly over a gouge in the metal. If there was any doubt from the construct that it was possibly armour on that arm, the depth of the damage would likely dismiss that immediately. She'd get to repairing it back in town. More interestingly, the arm itself seemed to feel pain. Some would call that a design flaw in a magitech prosthetic, but it had its uses.*
ŞlèéK : It considered her response and was on the verge of an answer when she exposed the prosthetic, which immediately drew it attention. The color of its eyes shifted, to a pale yellow green as it studied the arm, mechanisms behind the lenses adjusting for better penetration of the construct as it drew closer and extended its left hand, the tips of the sturdy fingers parting to extend a set of fine manipulators. "Your arm is damaged...I detect micro fractures in the substructure, just beneath the surface defect." It said calmly, then continued, "May I examine it further?" It knew to ask this question, one of its subroutines being concerned with treating battlefield injuries, in both living beings and its own kind. If allowed it would bring the micromanipulators into contact with the arm where the gouge was, their structure unfolding further in a fractal manner to explore the damage with filaments finer than the unaided eye could perceive. "I have been trained to repair my own kind, I am uncertain if I can be of real assistance. I may pooh the scrooch."
♦Callie♦ : *glanced to his assessment of the damage to her limb and nodded in definite agreement. "That was my assessment too. Nothing I can't fix. The problem is that there's also damage to at least one of the energy channels, and...Well." The palm of the hand that had been really quite still for the most part, other than the patting the construct's arm once, opened slowly to reveal the finely inset crystal into it. It didn't take a genius to figure out what a focusing crystal array and a concentrated bundle of energy-focusing channels could be combined to create. She was wandering around with some kind of energy cannon for an arm. Still, she nodded slowly and slowly removed the real hand. "Feel free. Just...Don't poke around too much, okay? I made some strange design choices with this one." Wait. SHE designed and built it? Her own arm? Well, she clearly had a talent for this kind of thing, if that was the case. While it could be removed, she was far too used to the weight, even if it was currently less comfortable than she would have liked. Eyes closed for a few moments as she felt the strange sensation that was hard to explain. Still, she laughed at the construct's words. "I'm...Not entirely sure that's how that saying goes, Sleek." She winced again, trying not to move herself or the arm. "...I like this place. The people are...Good, that I've met. They haven't chased me out of town yet. So I'll hazard a guess you'll be fine too." She knew how it was. Some people seemed to hate or distrust anything that wasn't entirely natural. She'd suffered a fair amount of that in the past due to the limb, as well as her often-overwhelming and acted upon urges to stop such attitudes from prevailing towards others. In her eyes? They were alive. She was somehow connected to them in a way that went far beyond interest or curiosity or simple affinity. It was hard to explain.*
ŞlèéK : "I will remember that." It replied as it explored the damage, "Yes, the ulnar energy channel is partially disrupted by the deformation, and seems to be creating feedback on an adjacent channel." It said as it withdrew the filaments, "I lack the necessary knowledge to make a repair, this design is quite..." It trailed off as it searched for an appropriate term..."incredible." It stepped back as the micromanipulators retracted into the fingers, "I believe the limb may need to be dismantled to properly access the damage, I would like to observe the repair." Well she had said to gather more data. Her remarks concerning the townsfolk it was still sorting out, but they weren't hard to digest. "Many fear my kind, because we are weapons." It said with firm certainty, it was not ignorant of that fact, nor what the usual consequences of that fear was. It returned to a still unresolved issue, what it was to do, to become rather, now that it had outlived its purpose. lived...was it alive...it considered question against the data it used to assess living beings, and the answer was uncertain...for while it was still functional physically and its mental processes showed no signs of deterioration, it lacked certain other criteria, it did not breathe and had no pulse. -d-
Ǥῖȿȿέȴȴέ¤Ѵяέȿȿȴⱱέ : was dressed in a red formal gown, nothing shiny or too sparkly but it was indeed pretty and indeed red. She had sent a missive to her father about her announcement she was making this evening and now it was time, the council members who had been pestering her for months had heard she was making an announcement this evening and they didn't know if she was retaking her position or what was happening. This was something she was doing on her own.....of her own free will...not so much, but she was of sound mind and body as she was being escorted out to the balcony overlooking the people who gathered round to hear what their Queen had to say. The wedding ring was tucked away in her satchel looking at her bare hand and closing her eyes for a moment before taking a deep breath and stepping up to the podium so to speak to address the crowd. "A lot of you have been wondering for quite sometime what has become of King Verve...as have I. I have been holding out and holding his position as my husband and as your king for quite some time, some would say too long....and they are probably right.." She said closing her eyes a moment before continuing on. "I have come to announce in front of council and Kingdom that I am ....renouncing him as your king, that he is missing presumed dead....and..." The next part was the hardest part for her to say but it still needed to be done... " And renouncing him as my husband......he is to be presumed dead among the courts, after this time if he happens to return in the future he has lost his title, and his wife.....Eladrin will still currently have a king for the time being as I have time to grieve over the loss of my husband. I humbly request you give me that time and I promise you I will not take long....but if anyone has ever lost a husband before.....they would understand my pain and also understand why I need this time to be able to properly lead you in the future.......Thank you..." There were a lot of shocked murmers in the crowd as she bowed her head and turned to walk away. When she got behind the closed doors she was shaking like a leaf. She finally did what everyone wanted and it was so hard and soo painful.. She kept her tears at bay but she turned to the library looking to the guards. "Leave me..." The guards bowed their heads and left her there where she shut and locked the door to get away from everyone just for a few moments so she could shed silent tears away from prying eyes going over to the seating area and using a pillow to muffle outcries as needed. <E>
Adam : had enough of that forsaken manor that had been in the place of his old home, He had caught word that the queen had stated Verve and the Darkmoon were no longer upon this realm. Oh he was happy and immediately got up and went into his room where his beloved had been sleeping, The creature would dig through that chest of his that held his bow at one point. Retrieving the necessary item's needed to create what was needed for him to bring that wretched manor down, Once he had those items and mixtures he would proceed to mix and combine volatile mixtures together. Adam would then swirl the concoction until it would grow unstable now, It would spark and shake within the container he now held. He would then exit the room and close the door behind him, The feline would then grab his bow from the placard behind the bar and slung the quiver with a single arrow over his right shoulder. Adam would then make his way outside the tavern and pulled not one but three black jagged arrows and dipped the tips within the container, He would remember the location the manor was and soon took aim into the skies above. All three arrow's notched and pulled back upon the bow string, He would test the wind direction and the strength of it before making the necessary adjustments before finally....releasing the long pointed shafts. The feline would swing his bow over the left shoulder and soon took off in the direction of the manor while the arrows took flight above, Adam would reach the manor just as the arrows came raining down from above causing massive damage blowing catastrophic holes within the building itself. "THAT'S WHAT YOU GET YOU FUCKING WINDOW LICKING FUCK STICKS!!! DESTROY MY FUCKING HOME!!! I COME BACK WITH A VENGEANCE!!!! SAME FASHION YOU HAD DONE TO ME AND MY FRIENDS!!!!" He would bellow out in anger, The feline's tail would lash about violently as he would then leap into the fray after the explosions subsided. He would growl and started to dig his claws into the wood and material used to erect this forsaken building, Adam would rip each piece of the manor apart plank and beam at a time. He didn't care if it came down on him since he had made it his mission to dismantle or even destroy this building, The feline would then leap into a near by tree and climb to the tipy top and leaped as high as he could into the air while capping the container full of volatile mixture and then throwing it at the remains of the manor. Nothing left remained after a blast equaling to that of the hydrogen bomb erupt from the plot of land, Landing with grace the creature would pant in rage but slowly started to calm himself down seeing nothing left of the damned building. "Perhaps she can set up shop now..." He was referring to Drizztren.<e>
Ǥῖȿȿέȴȴέ¤Ѵяέȿȿȴⱱέ : continued to cry silently wearing that same gown she made her announcement in to the people. It was heavy but it was functional, for Gisselle at least since she was used to wearing such gowns. Lord Glacious knew the inn's and outs of the kingdom as she heard footsteps approaching while she was in the library, she thought it was on lockdown and it was, but he came in through a trapped door Queen Sera once used to escape during the drow wars. Gisselle still didn't know all the trapped doors yet. She tried her eyes with a red handkerchief and stood up speaking attempting to put a fake smile on her face even though she knew all the information from her father, she didn't have the strength to fight. "...Lord Glacious....I had no idea you were here, I will go..." She said as she started to walk away
Lord Glacious : started to chuckle. "Nonsense my dear, you need this space to grieve, and I completely understand and give my condolences...." He stated as he touched her arm to simply try to comfort the girl in her hour of need. "I have always told you if you need someone to speak to I will be right here....Your words are safe with me..." He said, he knew she mistook his gestures before as love interest but that wasn't the case at all.
Ǥῖȿȿέȴȴέ¤Ѵяέȿȿȴⱱέ : trying to be polite as possible to the man of the court she nodded her head. "I know....there is just nothing to say.....I am not going to be seeing any courtiers at all till I have had time to process what has taken place and that could take some time.." She said softly.
Lord Glacious : didn't really like that answer and spoke out though not showing his disconcern on his face instead putting both hands on Gisselle's arms speaking out. "You are a strong woman....full of courage and grace....beauty.....I wish I had a daughter like you, kind and loving as you were to your husband, as you are to your father...your children.....you really are a perfect woman Gisselle....I just wish your husband saw that in you.." He said kissing her forehead and releasing her arms. He smiled and bowed his head . "I left you some more roses and chocolates in your room. I wish you would eat more your majesty, the kingdom needs a healthy queen, they already have a beautiful one, I just hope she listens so she could rule her people into prosperity, hopefully with a good strong elven man at her side.."
Ǥῖȿȿέȴȴέ¤Ѵяέȿȿȴⱱέ : sighed and she knew where this was trying to head. "I can rule this land into prosperity and grace without another king by my side, I did it before when I was thrown to the wolves before I ever met my husband, I can do it before, I will do it after, and I don't need anyone..." Save for her father of course.
Lord Glacious : just smiled and bowed his head. "I am sorry your majesty, I had no intent on making you upset....I just came to comfort your cries nothing more, just attempting to be your friend and confidant as I always have tried......so many people have hurt you....you are closing yourself off from those that wish to help you.." That silver tongue was again at play
Ǥῖȿȿέȴȴέ¤Ѵяέȿȿȴⱱέ : of course was feeling guilty as she brought the handkerchief to her eyes crying again feeling so confused by his words she was shivering. "I a not trying to push anyone away...I just...don't..." She didn't know what to do but she wouldn't say it outright in fear he would use it against her. "I shouldn't speak anymore..."
Lord Glacious : stopped her by gently taking her hand and pulling her to him hugging her gently. "Stop.....your shivering, your distraught.... please...let me help you......" Gisselle didn't have the strength to fight in her to pull away, he had her mind so confused she couldn't see anything save the fact that her husband was gone. She just continued to cry now out loud almost falling but Lord Glacious picked her up and put her on the couch sitting by her legs and stroking her hair. "Shh....its alright chylde.....let it out..." He said with a warm smile as Gisselle was curling in a ball. <e>
ζцɕiєɳ¤Ѵᾶȴԑɳԑяøȿ : He had not gone to bed yet and was doing a bit of paper work in his office. It was not very long after this... display that he had been shown and told what was going on in the Library. Where the lord had come from and what was the actions as well. His dark greens were swiftly that of fiery coloring and the very flames in the hearth of his office literally grasped him out of his seat and to disappear for but a few moments. He reappeared into the Library but not from the hearth. No he was a bit more down along one of the many, many corridors or alley ways in between the books. He even sent out a word of command to the guards closest to where they were... **Library!** via the flames that is. He narrowed his fiery gaze towards his daughter and the Lord Glacious but it was all for the Lord... not his daughter. Stepping forth he would then clear his throat and even stomped his feet or lightly clicked it with a clear clipping tone within each... and... every.... step.~
Ǥῖȿȿέȴȴέ¤Ѵяέȿȿȴⱱέ : She continued to cry softly as he was stroking her hair trying to be a comfort to her rubbing her arm
Lord Glacious : then he heard footsteps approaching. He smirked and whispered to her. "Time for you to sleep...... have sweet dreams" He said casting a sleeping spell on her not out of malice or spite, so that he could deal with whoever was coming down the long rows of books and he had a feeling of whom it was and why he was here, which he didn't want the Queen hearing their conversation. The Lord Glacious stood up from the couch and folded his arms speaking out as soon as Lucien was in sight. "Your daughter had been crying here for at least two hours before I arrived, she needed a comforting shoulder and your going to now suddenly appear? No wonder the pageant elf is a wreck....where is her support?" He asked curiously and with that silver tongue of his as usual, though he was sure Lucien wasn't buying it, he would display it in front of others that may come, that it wasn't an act that he was genuinely concerned as he continued on. "So you come to talk or throw me against another wall your majesty?" He asked curiously with his arms still folded standing next to the sleeping Queen awaiting a response. <e>
ζцɕiєɳ¤Ѵᾶȴԑɳԑяøȿ : He would stop five feet from the male and lifted his head just slightly. He smiled just a bit .... "How is your... son.. Aleric or something like that?" he just smiled a bit more. "I hear he is gone off to be with a nice young lady just a few cities over or so?" he shrugged his shoulders as he went to his daughter and sitting on the edge of the couch he would have his hands raise up in flames and from the mid section of his daughter's frame did he bring his right hand up towards her head and his left hand to down to her feet. As he did this she would slowly start to fade but into her room so that the hand maidens could take care of her. As soon as he had done this though he would look on over to Lord Glacious once more and hissed under his breath. "I told you to stay away from my daughter... myself and my family are trying to deal with her and we DO NOT wish an outsider to fill her head with gibberish to make her feel even more shitty and confused... got it?!" his hands in fists as he was trying so hard to be patient with the Lord~
Lord Glacious : Lucien was going to have a hard time keeping Lord Glacious out of her head now since he had now a direct link to her dreams due to his spell, but that was neither here nor there, when he was asking about his son he wanted to grin from ear to ear, but instead had a solemn look upon his face, genuine in looks as he spoke out. "I am afraid my son is not doing so well...you see, met the lass, very beautiful and very nice indeed, save for that she has fallen gravely ill, I told him to return her home and Lady Nimena's lovely healers would look into her condition, but sadly he says he is afraid the poor girl won't make the journey, I pray she becomes well ..." He said with an optimistic looking smile upon his face as he watched him fade Gisselle out of the room, which was no consequence, what he wanted done was done....now to deal with the little threat. "First of all your majesty, I am not an outsider, I have been an insider longer then you have been alive.....secondly it is my civic duty to aid the royal family in anyway I can rather it be with trade deal advice or simply a friendly shoulder to cry on...and I was preforming just that....something more then likely her father should do but.....of course you have a kingdom to run....or a husband whom simply ran away leaving her alone with two children.....your other three of course doing their duties or lack there of as well.....so why don't you let me do my job and start worrying about your multiple children instead of worrying of my only son whom is in desperation at the moment and pardon me for speaking freely, but is not in need of sarcastic commentary about his life from his majesty.." He said slightly firmly but kept his tone down as he bowed in respect to all mighty king Lucien. "Your daughter should have a restful sleep now, I have done my civic duty and I bid you farewell.....may the gods bless you.." And with that he started walking out of the Library to ....further fuck with the Queens head. <E>
ζцɕiєɳ¤Ѵᾶȴԑɳԑяøȿ : oh he was unable to touch this male at this time but he would find something. He narrowed his eyes once more... "Lord Glacious... Do stay away from my daughter.. IF no one... I do mean myself or my wife, her advisor are around her... you may not go see her. There is no reasoning for you to be so... diligent as you are being right now. I would think you would be more worried about your son and his grieving for his female friend then that of the Queen. Take care of your own family as I am taking care of mine. I will not ASK again." His tone ever so smoothly and calmly spoken but a close ear would tell nearly anyone that he was oh so not happy at this time. He folded his arms over his chest while those fiery eyes just watched the male ever so closely.... ***Love... I have a task for you this eve... please meet me in our chambers.*** A loving and gentle thought to go to her~
Ǥῖȿȿέȴȴέ¤Ѵяέȿȿȴⱱέ : was removed out of her red gown by the ladies maids, her face cleaned and changed into a nightgown to wear to sleep so she would be comfortable and tucked in to keep warm while she slept unknowingly of what was going on around her. This time she probably wouldn't even remember being moved from the Library as Lord Glacious was counting on as he started weaving his thread of idea's into her head.
Lord Glacious : He walked out and spoke out to the king. "Do not fret my king, I am taking very good care of my son but thank you so kindly for your concern..." He called out before rounding the corner and smirking as he left the castle speaking into Gisselle's mind making her think she was still in the library. ~I am only here as a friend, me and my son, we care for you very much and only wish to see happiness throughout your life....your children's lives.....your father wants you under his control....can't you see it Gisselle? Can't you?" And so it begins as he chuckled to himself slightly outside the gates. Gisselle was mumbling words in her sleep but the lady in waiting couldn't make them out or wake her up. She thought maybe she was just dreaming, nightmare from the stress as she just simply held Gisselle's hand to try to calm her. <e>
¤Ɲiɱέɳᾶ¤Ѵᾶȴԑɳԑяøȿ¤ : was already resting in their bedchambers when her eyes went open to her husbands call as she spoke out. ~"I am already here my love..."~ She said in his mind as she let out a soft sigh and got up from the bed and found her robe and tied it off going to sit into a chair sitting down and pouring herself a cup of tea to await her husbands arrival. Looking out the window she could see Lord Glacious exiting the castle with a skip in his step and his hands in his pockets. "Ohh this cannot be good" She said quietly to herself taking a sip of her tea and simply watching. <e>
ζцɕiєɳ¤Ѵᾶȴԑɳԑяøȿ : He needed the walk for he did not wish to have his love think that his anger was towards her. They were having a hard time as it was right now and this.. this sort of situation was not going to help anything too much. When he got to their door he would stop... take a deep breath and then enter within only to see the most beautiful creature he had ever seen. "I am sorry for waking you, my love but I need you to go to the Village of Bahlast. Lord Glacious just informed me that his son IS there but he is in distress due to the woman he likes is deathly ill. I need you to find out what is going on with her and Alevis to be sure that it was not the doing of Lord Glacious, himself. He just put our daughter to sleep as well... right infront of me and it took all I had to not take his head off." he growled slightly as he went to the other chair to flop down into it.~
¤Ɲiɱέɳᾶ¤Ѵᾶȴԑɳԑяøȿ¤ : She was right, it wasn't good as she sighed heavily. She knew he was upset, he had every right to be, another man was invading on his territory..... his children were his territory, and Lord.... whatever it is was happily trampling on it! She stood and walked over to Lucien after he plopped down as her robe loosened just ever so slightly as she kissed his forehead and hugged him so his face would be in her chest as she spoke out. "I will leave tonight on the condition you give me a kiss before I go.... I need to feel your lips at least once in a blue moon dear heart..." She said with a chuckle, yes the situation was serious.... but so was her husbands mood and she needed to alleviate some of it before she left... as she slightly loosened the hug and stood up so he would have to come after her backing away a few steps to make him do some of the work..like the little minx she was. <E>
ζцɕiєɳ¤Ѵᾶȴԑɳԑяøȿ : He kissed one boob and would have done the other but she was trying to back away from him only to get two steps from him, which had him coming out of the chair. Grinning he would then stand up from the chair and pulled her back around to face him dead on. Leaning down to give her a kiss of such passion... such love and such... rrrrrrmmmmm need. "careful my love... I just may need to have you right here and now." he smirked for they really did need a bit of time with each other. This was just a bloody tease and though he loved to be teased... this is about all they were able to do for far too long.~
¤Ɲiɱέɳᾶ¤Ѵᾶȴԑɳԑяøȿ¤ : She grinned as he spun her around and kissed her the way she deserved to be kissed...and about time too! But sadly she chuckled then sighed speaking out. "You have an appointment with me for that tomorrow night my love, but in the meantime, there is a young lady dying that I must get to before its too late, if its not too late already..." She said in soft tones then kissed his forehead and pressed herself against him biting his lip one more time... "Keep the furnace warm till I return.... and.... check on Gisselle, I hear her cries from here, something is not right..." She said then shimmered out of the room.... destination... Village of Bahlast.... reason.... lady dying, courtier of Sir Alevis Nightleaf.... of mysterious circumstances..... ohh how she wished she stayed in bed... speaking of bed... she was still in her nighty!!! Well when she arrived she was wearing a gown, at least that covered everything and made her look presentable as she appeared in front of Sir Nightleaf's home to check out and aid if necessary. <E>
